Erste Flare is my debut typeface. I designed it with subtle elegance and a distinct identity in mind.

Erste Flare combines the clarity of sans serifs and the elegance & poise of serif typefaces. The terminals have a slight swelling or "flare" — hence the name Erste Flare. It comes in three weights and spans over 400 glyphs.

Erste Flare offers ligatures and is optimized for gender inclusive language in German with a lowered asterisk. It is set to release beginning of 2026 with a commercial license and a free trial version.
